Personal Shredding Services
Secure shredding is the most effective way to prevent identity theft. To help protect your confidential information, CI Shred offers convenient drop-off services. In our secure destruction facility, we can destroy virtually any material where sensitive information is stored, including checks & registers, financial records, contracts, tax records, legal documents, credit card statements & offers and even computer hard drives. We recycle all paper material after destruction, so that it returns to the market as paper and other useful products. Our residential drop-off services are secure, affordable, convenient, and reliable.
Secure Drop-Off Shredding Services
You can bring your documents or media to us for secure destruction. Our expert staff will weigh your material and secure it in a locked container until it is destroyed within 24 hours. We can provide a Certificate of Destruction upon request.
Bring your boxes or bags of material to our secure facility at 900 S. Dayton in Kennewick Monday through Friday 8 a.m.—4:30 p.m.
Paper Material Acceptable
- Folders, notebooks, notepads (including spiral bound)
- Newsprint, magazine, soft bound publications less than 2″ thick
- Small metal fasteners, rubber bands (staples, paper clips, small binder clips)
- Business sensitive documents and general office paper, any color
Materials NOT Acceptable
- Trash, plastic, Styrofoam, soda cans
- CDs, DVDs, tapes, x-rays, laminates
- Corrugated cardboard
- Hard bound books and 3-ring binders
- Large metal objects, large binder clips
Hard Drive Destruction Services
Discarded computer hard drives can provide identity thieves with a veritable storehouse of information. Simply pressing the delete button does not destroy stored data. Before recycling your old computer towers, remove the hard drives and bring them to CI Shred to be securely destroyed.
Walk-up Shredding Services
If you live outside of the Tri-Cities, but within our service area (Hermiston/Pendleton area, Walla Walla, Yakima and the the Lower Yakima Valley), you may be able to bring your material to meet the shred truck when we visit your community on a regularly scheduled trip. Some restrictions apply to this service. Please call our office for more information.
CI Shred may be able to help you destroy documents stored at your home, whether they are business related or personal documents. Availability of this service will depend on truck accessibility at your residence, proximity to the existing service route and your flexibility to accommodate our schedule.
